Established in line with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021, the Host Community Development Trust is committed to fostering positive change through education in collaboration with NNPC/MPN JV EMOIMEE. Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the NNPC/MPN JV EMOIMEE Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Indigene of Mkpat Enin – Applicants must be from Mkpat Enin, demonstrating a strong connection to the community.
- Academic Excellence – Applicants must have a proven track record of academic success, as evidenced by meeting the minimum GPA requirements.
- Admission to Tertiary Institution – Applicants should have secured admission or be enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria or abroad.
- Field of Study – While we welcome diverse academic interests, preference may be given to those pursuing studies aligned with Mkpat Enin’s development needs.
- Community Engagement – Involvement in community development activities will be considered positively during the selection process.
- Financial Need – This scholarship prioritizes students with financial need to ensure that deserving candidates can access quality education.
- Character and Leadership – Applicants should demonstrate qualities of good character, leadership potential, and a commitment to ethical conduct.
- Letter of Recommendation – A letter of recommendation from a Head of Department and a community leader must be submitted to verify the applicant’s academic abilities and character.
