Requirements/ Eligibility Criteria
To ensure the highest quality of participation and cohort synergy, applicants must meet the following essential requirements:
1. Have at least five years of hands-on, on-the-ground conservation experience.
The program is specifically tailored to practitioners actively implementing market-based approaches in real environmental contexts.
2. Submit a strong project proposal.
Applicants must present a well-defined environmental issue related to their professional work, outlining a proposed solution using market-driven approaches.
3. Be prepared to collaborate on group projects during the fellowship.
Fellows will work collectively to integrate the cohort’s expertise, proposed projects, and curriculum insights.
4. Possess a four-year U.S. college degree or its international equivalent.
5. Have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience after completing their degree.
6. Demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English.

7. Work as a conservation practitioner rather than an academic or purely research-focused professional.
