YALE YOUNG GLOBAL SCHOLARS 2025 FOR OUTSTANDING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WORLDWIDE

Applications are now open for the 2025 Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) Program, a renowned academic enrichment program designed for outstanding high school students from around the world. Each summer, students from over 150 countries (including all 50 U.S. states) come together at Yale University for a transformative, interdisciplinary learning experience. As part of this highly selective Ivy League pre-college program, students immerse themselves in a global learning community on Yale’s historic campus, where they explore global issues, engage in cultural exchange, and develop critical leadership skills.

The Yale Young Global Scholars program offers a rigorous academic curriculum tailored for high school sophomores and juniors, designed to enhance academic excellence and foster global citizenship. With an emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, participants are challenged to think critically about global challenges while interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds. The program also provides invaluable preparation for college life and beyond, making it one of the most sought-after pre-college leadership programs.

Requirements/Eligibility criteria: ⁃ Be between the ages of 16-18 years old by July 20, 2025 (first day of Session III). ⁃ Be able to participate in a rigorous academic curriculum conducted in English. ⁃ Be a current high school sophomore or junior (or international equivalent). ⁃ Be graduating in May/June 2026 or 2027 from the Northern Hemisphere, or in Nov./Dec. 2025 or 2026 from the Southern Hemisphere.
