Dialogue Earth Indigenous Voices Fellowship 2025

Applications are now open for the Dialogue Earth Indigenous Voices Fellowship 2025. This unique fellowship is designed to amplify Indigenous voices in critical global conversations surrounding environmental governance and climate policy. Indigenous perspectives are essential to building a more just and sustainable world, but they are often marginalized or excluded from mainstream dialogues.

This program seeks to change that by offering a platform for Indigenous storytellers and environmental journalists from South AsiaSoutheast AsiaAfrica, and Latin America to participate in major global events like COP30, scheduled to be held in Brazil.

The Dialogue Earth Indigenous Voices Fellowship offers not only financial support but also training and mentorship in investigative journalismmultimedia storytelling, and other forms of reporting that highlight critical environmental issues and climate change challenges.

Fellows will be expected to produce impactful articles, blending on-the-ground reporting with desk-based research, thereby contributing to a broader understanding of climate policy and environmental governance from an Indigenous perspective.

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

  • The fellowship is open to Indigenous storytellers and environmental journalists from South AsiaSoutheast AsiaAfrica, and Latin America.
  • Applicants must commit to attending COP30 in Brazil and to delivering two articles – one investigative/on-the-ground and one desk-based – within the outlined timeline.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a passion for climate change and sustainability, along with a commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices in global conversations.
