WACSI Next Generation Internship Program For Young Graduates And Early-Career Professionals

The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) is inviting young graduates and early-career professionals in Nigeria, Senegal, and Cape Verde to apply for its Next Generation Internship Programme (NGIP). This fully funded internship aims to develop the next generation of African leaders by providing hands-on experience in WACSI’s core areas of capacity developmentpolicy influencing, and advocacy training. Interns will actively participate in WACSI’s activities, enhancing their civic awareness and professional skills to address critical development issues in West Africa.

Since its inception in January 2008, the NGIP has aimed to equip young West Africans, either fresh graduates or early career professionals, with essential skills in non-profit management and knowledge management. Interns are expected to commit to WACSI for six months, during which time they will be fully involved in all activities, enhancing their knowledge and capacities for leadership and critical development issues in the region.
