The Swedish Institute Scholarship for Pioneering Women in STEM is an academic scholarship for full-time, one- or two-year master’s studies in designated programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in Sweden. The Swedish Institute aims to create a more diverse and inclusive STEM field by empowering women in STEM to contribute to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. By offering this Master’s Scholarship, the Institute helps women develop into global leaders, equipped to drive change and promote sustainable development in their home countries.

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Pioneering Women in STEM scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be female citizens from eligible countries.
- Apply to designated master’s programs starting in the autumn semester.
- Not currently enrolled in a master’s program at a Swedish university.
- Not have previously been awarded an SI scholarship or a degree from a Swedish university.
- Not have resided in Sweden for more than two years before the scholarship application.
