The UN Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship Programme 2025 is a prestigious fully funded fellowship designed for young journalists from developing countries and transitioning economies. This exclusive opportunity provides early-career media professionals with hands-on experience in international reportingglobal communications, and UN affairs.

Established in 1980 under United Nations General Assembly Resolution 35/201, the fellowship was formerly known as the DPI Training Programme for Broadcasters and Journalists from Developing Countries. It was renamed in 2003 to honor Reham Al-Farra, a 29-year-old UN Public Information Officer from Jordan, who was tragically killed in the Baghdad UN headquarters bombing on August 19, 2003.
