Requirement/Eligibility
The Japan Youth Summit 2025 welcomes a wide and diverse applicant pool. Below are the key eligibility criteria:
1. Age: Participants must be between the ages of 15 and 35 at the time of the summit.
2. Nationality: Open to applicants from all nationalities and backgrounds.
3. Academic/Professional Background: No restriction on field of study; open to students, professionals, activists, and entrepreneurs.
4. Language Proficiency: Working knowledge of English is recommended, as most sessions and discussions will be conducted in English.
5. Legal Status: Applicants must not have a criminal record or be affiliated with extremist groups.
6. Commitment to Change: Candidates should demonstrate passion and past engagement in community or global development initiatives.
Duration/stipend
Duration: The program will run for four days, from October 26 to October 29, 2025.
Stipend and Benefits:
The summit offers three participation packages:
1. Fully Funded: Covers accommodation, meals, program materials, local transport, airport assistance, and certification.
2. Partially Funded: Covers a portion of the costs, depending on sponsorship availability.
3. Self-Funded: For those not selected under funded categories, participants can still attend by covering their own expenses.
Note: The fully funded category is highly competitive and based on the strength of your application and essay submission. Benefits are typically provided in the form of reimbursement.
All participants, regardless of their funding type, receive equal access to seminars, innovation competitions, and networking events.
