Requirement/Eligibility
1. Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of application.
2. You must currently be a university student, postdoctoral researcher, or have completed a Bachelor’s degree within the last 10 years, a Master’s within the last 7 years, or a PhD within the last 5 years.
3. The idea you pitch must be your original work, and individual applications only are permitted.
4. The project can be scientific research, a business venture, or a social initiative.
5. Pitches must be delivered in English and limited to 3 minutes, with a maximum of 3 presentation slides.
6. Applicants should demonstrate potential global impact and originality of concept.
7. Past winners of any international Falling Walls Lab Final are not eligible to apply again.
8. You may only apply to one Lab event globally.
9. Travel to the Toronto Lab must be arranged by the applicant, but Berlin travel for winners is fully covered.
10. Applicants must upload a CV and proposal summary via the official application portal.

Winners of Falling Walls Lab Toronto will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Berlin, Germany, to participate in the Falling Walls Science Summit 2025, which includes:
