Requirement/Eligibility
To ensure the Challenge attracts the most impactful ideas, the following requirements and eligibility criteria must be strictly adhered to:
1. Eligible Applicants: Open to individuals, research institutions, NGOs, civil society organizations, academic bodies, and private sector innovators.
2. Geographical Scope: Proposals must be relevant to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) or emerging economies.
3. Thematic Focus: Project proposals must address one or more of the following:
- Reduction of food loss across supply chains
- Innovative nutrition-focused food distribution
- Super pollutant emissions reduction (especially methane, HFCs, and black carbon)
- Data-driven climate-smart food policies
4. Proposal Readiness: Applications must include a well-defined problem, proposed solution, expected outcomes, implementation timeline, and budget.
