The African Union CIEFFA Online Capacity Building Training 2025 is a fully funded, one‑month transformational virtual program beginning September 2025, designed to empower emerging leaders across Africa and the Diaspora. Co‑organized by the African Union International Centre for Girls’ and Women’s Education in Africa (AU CIEFFA) and ImpactHER, under the banner “#AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship”, this life‑changing initiative supports inclusive digital education, promotes gender-responsive teaching, and builds entrepreneurial and financial capacity among participants.
The training is available in English, French, and Portuguese with simultaneous interpretation, ensuring access irrespective of language barriers. Candidates will complete three intensive modules: Digital Literacy (2 weeks), Entrepreneurship (1 week), Financial Literacy (1 week), and optional gender-in-education content. Certification is awarded for each stream provided participants attend at least 80 percent. By joining this cohort, participants earn three certificates, become members of the AU CIEFFA and ImpactHER networks, and unlock opportunities for future fully funded in-person programs across the continent—all at zero cost.
This ultimate capacity building opportunity is aimed at motivated African citizens aged 18 and above, with leadership potential and a passion for girls’ and women’s education and empowerment. You must have reliable internet access and a digital device.
This is a must-see, life-changing free opportunity tailored for motivated African youth and educators ready to harness digital tools, financial acumen, and business mindset to lead change. With certifications, gender-responsive STEAM frameworks, and network access to AU CIEFFA and ImpactHER communities, this program is a next-level career and advocacy accelerator.
Hurry—this program is open to all AU Member States and the Diaspora, but selection is competitive. Completing all three modules with attendance above 80 percent qualifies you for certificates and increased visibility for future in-person AU programs. Past cohorts have seen participants invited to leadership summits and education reform events across Africa.
