UNESCO & Kingdoms Institute Fully Funded 24-Month Fellowship in Saudi Arabia for Young Professionals

UNESCO fellowship

UNESCO, in partnership with the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), invites applications for the UNESCO / Kingdoms Institute – AlUla Fellowship Programme, a prestigious fully funded 24-month international fellowship based in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity targets 10 early- to mid-career professionals from UNESCO Member States and Associate Members, particularly those working in the fields of Heritage Research, Conservation, and Management.

This initiative is part of a strategic partnership between UNESCO and RCU aimed at advancing heritage science, promoting sustainable cultural development, and building emergency preparedness and response capacity for heritage sites. Fellows will engage in a multidisciplinary program that combines fieldwork in AlUla, on-site cultural heritage engagement, and three professional rotations across national, regional, and international institutions.
