To be eligible for the Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship Program 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Age: Applicants must be between 16-28 years old at the time of application.
Residency: Applicants must currently reside in one of the participating countries:
Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, Philippines, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, USA, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
Applicants must continue residing in these countries for the duration of the program.
Language Skills: A good command of English (both written and spoken) is required.
Commitment: Applicants must be committed to solving environmental issues and building a sustainable future.
Entrepreneurial Experience: No previous entrepreneurial experience is necessary. The program is open to young individuals who are passionate and driven to make an impact.
Financial Support: If applicable, applicants can apply for financial support to help with logistics and participation costs, especially those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The support covers living costs and transportation for in-person events.
Duration / Stipends
Duration: The fellowship lasts for 12 months (with potential for continued support for the second year based on needs assessment).
Stipends: Selected fellows will receive monthly financial support for the first year of the program. This will cover 24 hours worth of basic income per month, based on Germany’s basic income (adjusted to the purchasing power of your country). Additionally, fellows will receive basic local transportation costs to attend in-person meet-ups.
