Requirement/Eligibility

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:

  • Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application
  • Be a citizen of an African Union member state or part of the African diaspora
  • Own or co-own a registered startup or have a working prototype solving health, education, or food security challenges in Africa
  • Be available on the dates of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF)

Application Process

The application process involves:
– Preparing a business summary: A short summary of your business (max 500 words)
– Preparing a pitch deck: A PowerPoint pitch deck or visuals
– Preparing a video presentation: A 2-minute video presentation
– Submitting the application: Through the official webpage of the Intra-African Trade Fair African Union Youth Startup Programme.

– A fully sponsored booth at the AU Youth Startup Pavilion in Algiers to showcase products/services
