The AWIEF Growth Accelerator Program is an exciting initiative aimed at empowering early-stage women entrepreneurs in Nigeria. In partnership with the African Guarantee Fund (AGF) and FSDH Merchant Bank Limited, the African Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) is offering a transformative opportunity for female entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The program focuses on supporting women entrepreneurs who have established businesses and are looking to scale up, through tailored mentorship, business development training, and access to vital funding opportunities.

This comprehensive Growth Accelerator Program is designed for post-revenue stage businesses that are led by ambitious and committed women entrepreneurs, seeking to expand their reach. Over the 12-month program, participants will benefit from expert mentorship, entrepreneurial skills training, and guidance on securing investment and financing to scale their businesses effectively.

Program Details:

• Target Participants: The program seeks to attract a cohort of 100 Nigerian women entrepreneurs, particularly those with innovative and scalable ventures. Entrepreneurs must have been in business for at least three years and must be interested in seeking funding opportunities to further expand their business reach.
• Business Development Mentorship: Throughout the 12-month accelerator, participants will have the chance to engage in tailored business development mentorship sessions. These sessions will be designed to help entrepreneurs refine their strategies for scaling their businesses, navigating challenges, and expanding their market presence.
• Networking & Investment Opportunities: The AWIEF Growth Accelerator Program also offers an opportunity for networking with key stakeholders, including potential investors, mentors, and industry experts. Entrepreneurs will gain exposure to investment opportunities, improving their chances of securing the fundingneeded to take their businesses to the next level.
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Business Location: Applicants must be based and operating in Nigeria.
  • Business Stage: Eligible businesses must be at the post-revenue stage, showing early signs of success and scalability.
  • Duration of Operation: Businesses must have been in operation for a minimum of three years.
  • Entrepreneurship Goals: Entrepreneurs must be ambitious, committed, and seeking investment to scale their business.
