Charles Sturt University has announced the 2025 Launch Merit Scholarship, aiming to recognize and reward academic excellence among new, commencing international students who plan to study on campus at CSU’s Melbourne campus, Port Macquarie campus, or Sydney campus.
Applicants must be new, commencing international students, applying to study in internal/on-campus mode at the Melbourne, Port Macquarie, or Sydney campuses.
Enroll in one of the approved courses during Session 30 or Session 60 of 2025.
Academic entry requirements: For undergraduate courses, an academic entry score of 75% in equivalent Australian Year 12 is required, while for postgraduate courses, an academic entry score of 65% in equivalent Australian undergraduate degree study is required.
Undergraduate: WAEC or NECO with a minimum of 5 credits, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications.
Postgraduate: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university with a minimum GPA of 3.0/5.0 or 60%.
English language proficiency:
IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5)
TOEFL iBT 60 overall (with minimum 18 in Reading, 18 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 22 in Writing)
Cambridge English Scale 169 overall (no band below 162)
