Requirements / Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants must be new, commencing international students, applying to study in internal/on-campus mode at the MelbournePort Macquarie, or Sydney campuses.
  2. Enroll in one of the approved courses during Session 30 or Session 60 of 2025.
  3. Academic entry requirements: For undergraduate courses, an academic entry score of 75% in equivalent Australian Year 12 is required, while for postgraduate courses, an academic entry score of 65% in equivalent Australian undergraduate degree study is required.
  4. Undergraduate: WAEC or NECO with a minimum of 5 credits, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications.
  5. Postgraduate: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university with a minimum GPA of 3.0/5.0 or 60%.
  6. English language proficiency:
    • IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5)
    • TOEFL iBT 60 overall (with minimum 18 in Reading, 18 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 22 in Writing)
    • Cambridge English Scale 169 overall (no band below 162)
  7. Completed application form
  8. Certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates
  9. Proof of English language proficiency
  10. Passport
  11. Proof of financial support (if required)
  12. Nigerian students may need to obtain a Student Visa (subclass 500) to study in Australia.
  13. Meet the university’s health insurance requirements.
