Brief Description
Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 Commonwealth Shared Scholarships, a fully funded program offering talented postgraduate students from eligible Commonwealth countries the opportunity to pursue full-time Master’s degrees in the UK. The scholarships are awarded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), reflecting the UK government’s long-standing commitment to international development and capacity building in Commonwealth nations.
The primary goal of the Commonwealth Shared Scholarships is to support development in low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries by training skilled professionals who would otherwise be unable to afford postgraduate study in the UK. Scholars are expected to use the knowledge and leadership skills gained during their studies to contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development of their home countries.
