EDGE Fellowship 2026

The EDGE Fellowship is a 28-month program designed to support early-career conservationists from lower- and middle-income countries. The fellowship provides funding, training, and mentorship to implement a two-year project focused on protecting Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered (EDGE) species. The EDGE Fellowship aims to build conservation leadership where it’s needed most, by providing fellows with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to make a meaningful impact in their conservation efforts.

The EDGE Fellowship is part of the EDGE of Existence program, which is a global conservation initiative that aims to protect the most Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered (EDGE) species. The program is run by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and is supported by a range of partners. The EDGE Fellowship is a key component of the program, providing opportunities for early-career conservationists to develop their skills and knowledge in conservation.
