The E-JUST TICAD8 Postgraduate Scholarship Program 2025 is afully-funded scholarship initiative designed to supportAfrican graduates who aspire to pursue advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and other related fields. The program is a collaboration between the Egyptian government and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), aimed at developing highly skilled professionals who will contribute to Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) advancements in Africa and beyond. Through this program, E-JUST seeks to create a network of skilled individuals who will play a key role in the African STI ecosystem.
The E-JUST scholarship covers all major costs associated with postgraduate education, including tuition fees, accommodation, a monthly stipend, medical care, and international flight fare (round-trip from and to the applicant’s home country). The scholarship is open to students pursuing a Master’s or PhD in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and related specializations, giving them an opportunity to study at a world-class institution while making meaningful contributions to the development of their communities.
Nationality: Applicants must be nationals of an African country, excluding Egypt.
Educational Background: Applicants should have completed at least a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field and must be interested in pursuing a Master’s or PhD at E-JUST.
Military Status: Applicants must not be currently serving in the military.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must fulfill all admission requirements set by the university and pass both academic interviews and oral examinations.
Home Address: Applicants must have a current home address in an African country.
English Proficiency: A high level of proficiency in English is required for all applicants.
