Brief Description:

The Position:

As a Passenger Sales Manager for Emirates Airline in Nigeria, your role is pivotal in achieving, organizing, controlling, and monitoring passenger sales targets and marketing goals. This position is ideal for those seeking airline industry careers in Nigeria and involves effectively managing trade and corporate relationships to support station commercial objectives. You’ll conduct regular sales visits to ensure Emirates sales leadership is maintained in a highly competitive airline/travel market. This includes overseeing the day-to-day activities of field sales staff to ensure satisfactory performance levels and a smooth flow of business.

You will work closely with the marketing and other passenger service-related departments of Emirates to ensure a well-integrated sales effort. Additionally, you will prepare weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports, constantly monitor market trends, and review the sales of travel agents and GSAs to ensure that business potential is maximized. Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

  • University Graduate with at least 5 years of experience in passenger sales within the airline/travel industry, including 2 years in a prominent sales position.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential.
  • A proven track record in developing, implementing, and controlling budgets is required.
  • You should be an analytical thinker with a high degree of initiative to keep pace with market trends and develop innovative strategies.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Good knowledge of the local travel market in Nigeria is essential.
  • Must possess a valid local driving license.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
