Applications are now open for the 2026–2027 Erasmus Mundus TROPIMUNDO Master Scholarship, one of Europe’s most prestigious fully funded postgraduate opportunities for students passionate about tropical biodiversity, ecosystems, and environmental conservation. Coordinated by the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and funded by the European Commission and VLIR-UOS ICP-Connect, this world-class two-year programme allows students to study in top European universities and conduct fieldwork in global biodiversity hotspots like the Amazon Rainforest, Central African forests, Madagascar, the Caribbean, Asian mangroves, and more.
TROPIMUNDO is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programme awarding 120 ECTS credits. It offers a unique blend of multidisciplinary coursework, tropical field experience, and international collaboration between universities in Europe and partner institutions in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
