Requirement/Eligibility
To be eligible for the FMDQ Graduate Development Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Nigerian citizen, living in Nigeria at the time of application.
- Be aged 21 to 35 years.
- Hold a minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any field—especially finance, economics, accounting, law, business administration, mathematics, engineering, and related disciplines.
- Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and have no more than 2 years post-NYSC work experience.
- Be passionate about finance, capital markets, policy, regulation, and development impact.
- Exhibit strong ethical values, critical thinking skills, communication abilities, and a demonstrated track record of leadership or community involvement.
- Must be available for a full-time four-month engagement and committed to the programme’s values and expectations.
- A history of volunteering, entrepreneurship, research, or social impact work is a plus.
- Candidates should be ready to work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment, take initiative, and show resilience under pressure. FMDQ seeks individuals who are not only intelligent but also mission-driven and purpose-aligned.
Duration/Stipend
The FMDQ Graduate Development Programme is a four-month full-time intensive programme delivered in Lagos, Nigeria. Participants will benefit from:
- A multi-week bootcamp, where participants are introduced to Nigeria’s financial market structure, key regulatory frameworks, innovation pathways, and sustainability concepts.
- Rotational placements across various FMDQ business units, offering a holistic understanding of how the Group operates across financial markets, depository, clearing, and private capital functions.
