Program Conditions & Responsibilities
Once selected, assistants must adhere to the following conditions:
1. Teaching Hours
1. Assistants work approximately 12 hours per week, depending on placement level (primary or secondary school).
2. Duration
1. The contract typically lasts 7 months, beginning in October and ending in April or May.
3. Stipend
1. Assistants receive a monthly stipend from the French government, which covers basic living expenses.

Requirements / Eligibility Criteria
To be selected for the FEI Language Assistant Program, applicants must meet the following criteria. These may vary slightly depending on your home country, but the universal basic requirements are as follows:
