Requirement/Eligibility
1. Applicants must be female citizens of any African country.
2. Must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of work experience, with at least five (5) years in a leadership or managerial position.
3. Candidates must currently occupy mid- to senior-level positions in public, private, or civil society organizations.
4. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required for application.
5. Candidates must demonstrate leadership ambition, commitment to social change, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to Africa’s development.
6. Must have strong written and verbal English communication skills.
7. Applicants must be available to participate in all four modules, coaching sessions, and the Women’s Leadership Forum during the six-month period.
8. A letter of support from the applicant’s employer is mandatory, confirming time off for participation and endorsement of the leadership programme.
9. Applicants must submit a detailed curriculum vitae (CV) not exceeding three pages.
10. A motivational statement (450–500 words) must be provided, outlining the candidate’s leadership experience, key achievements, challenges, and the value the programme will bring to their leadership journey.
Duration/Stipend
The Women’s Leadership Programme spans six months, starting in October 2025 and concluding in March 2026. Participants will attend four in-person modules in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and receive monthly virtual coaching from leadership experts.
This is a fully funded opportunity, meaning there are zero fees for participation. The programme covers all expenses, including:
- International and domestic travel costs
