GROWTH4HER Investor Readiness Accelerator Program (Cohort 4) For Women SMEs

Applications are now open for the Growth4Her Accelerator Program, specifically designed to support women-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in West and Central Africa. This 6-month Investor Readiness Training for Women aims to bridge the gender financing gap in Africa by equipping women entrepreneurs with the necessary capacity and tools to transition from small businesses to high-potential, fundable growth stage companies. Women in Nigeria are encouraged to apply for Cohort 4, where selected participants will benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities tailored for female entrepreneurs.

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The business must be ≥ 51% owned by a woman, or ≥ 20% owned by a woman with at least one woman serving as CEO/COO (President/Vice President).
  • At least 30% of the board of directors must be comprised of women, where applicable.
  • The organization should have between 5 and 300 employees and sales ranging from US$35,000 to US$15 million.
  • Assets must be valued between US$100,000 and US$15 million.
  • Applicants must be able to dedicate 1 week to an intense virtual/physical boot camp and 3 hours for mentorship engagement over 8 weeks.
  • The applicant must hold a C-Level executive position in the organization.
