Requirements/Eligibility:

To ensure inclusivity and encourage broad participation, Hackaholics 6.0 maintains open and accessible entry criteria. Below are the eligibility requirements:

1. Nationality:
– Open to Nigerian citizens and legal residents currently living in Nigeria.

2. Age Requirement:
– Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of submission.

3. Applicant Categories:
– Individual tech enthusiasts and developers
– Student innovators
– Startup founders and early-stage ventures
– Teams of innovators, including university or tech hub groups

4. Innovation Scope:
Participants are encouraged to submit innovative ideas or solutions aligned with one or more of the following themes:
– Financial Technology (Fintech): Improving digital finance, banking services, and inclusion.
– HealthTech:Developing accessible, affordable, and innovative healthcare delivery solutions.
– AgriTech: Solutions to boost agricultural productivity, reduce food insecurity, and optimize supply chains.
– EdTech: Improving learning access, engagement, and education outcomes using technology.
– Sustainability: Green tech, renewable energy, and digital solutions addressing environmental challenges.

5. Team Composition:
– Individuals may apply, but teams are encouraged. Each team can have up to five (5) members.
– Diversity in team composition (gender, discipline, skills) is highly encouraged.

6. Technical Capability:
– Teams should demonstrate the capacity to develop a prototype or proof of concept during the program timeline.

7. Location:
– Though primarily hosted in Nigeria, some stages of the competition may be virtual or hybrid to accommodate wider participation.

Prize:

Hackaholics 6.0 offers a robust prize pool and multiple awards, providing both financial support and opportunities for long-term growth:

1. Main Prizes:
– First Prize: ₦30 million worth of funding, business support, and technology tools.
– Second Prize: ₦20 million in cash and strategic support.
– Third Prize: ₦15 million for product development and scaling.

2. Special Category Awards:
– Best Women-led Team: ₦10 million to support female entrepreneurship in tech.
– University STEM Endowment: ₦15 million allocated to academic institutions with outstanding STEM project entries.

3. Additional Benefits:
