The ICLD Women’s Political Leadership Programme is a 12-month training program designed to empower women in politics, focusing on developing leadership skills, promoting democratic values, and championing gender equality in governance. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Position: Be a woman currently serving as a Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Governor, or Deputy Governor in local or regional government.
2. Country Eligibility: Be from a country included in the OECD-DAC list of ODA-eligible countries, excluding countries holding local elections between August and December 2025.
3. Language Proficiency: Have proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
4. Health: Have good health and ability to work without physical/health restrictions.
