The Youth in Development Fellowship 2025 is an empowering global program designed to equip young leaders with the knowledge and skills required to promote sustainable development and drive social change. This fellowship offers comprehensive training, including access to the Social Impact Strategy Course on the Impact Toolbox platform, where applicants will gain valuable skills in problem identification, action planning, risk assessment, theory of change, and much more.

Selected fellows will engage in online courses on social enterprise development, valued at $1000, where they will learn how to build a business model, create a minimal viable product (MVP), develop a financial model, establish a go-to-market strategy, and craft impactful pitches to investors. These courses will equip fellows with the critical skills needed to launch or scale social enterprises that tackle pressing social issues. Additionally, fellows will receive completion certificates for these courses, marking their achievement in social enterprise development.

Eligibility/Requirements

To apply for the Youth in Development Fellowship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational and Professional Interest:
   • A demonstrated interest in starting or advancing a social enterprise and pursuing a career in the social sector.
2. Innovative Idea:
   • A well-defined idea or initiative focused on social change with potential for sustainable development.
3. Age Limit:
   • Applicants must be between 19-35 years old on or before the application deadline.
4. Geographical Diversity:
   • Open to youth from any part of the world.

Program Features

1. Social Impact Strategy Course:
   • All applicants gain access to the Social Impact Strategy Course on the Impact Toolbox platform. This course covers crucial aspects of social entrepreneurship, such as identifying and validating problems, developing action plans, and applying a theory of change.
2. Online Social Enterprise Courses:
   • Fellows will enroll in two online courses on social enterprise development valued at $1000. These courses are designed to provide comprehensive training on how to:
     • Build a business model
     • Develop a minimal viable product (MVP)
     • Design a financial model
     • Create a go-to-market strategy
     • Learn how to pitch to investors.
     • Receive a certificate upon completing the courses.
3. Intensive Boot Camps:
   • Fellows will participate in three intensive boot camps, gaining practical insights from accomplished social entrepreneurs and experts. 4. Venture Development Prize:
   • The Impact Toolbox’s Venture Development Prize offers equity-free financial support ranging from $500 to $2500. This prize is aimed at supporting exceptional fellows who show innovation, a commitment to social impact, and a well-developed revenue generation plan for their social enterprises.
