The KPMG Cyber Automation Consultant Program is an elite opportunity designed to equip aspiring and seasoned professionals with cutting-edge expertise in cybersecurity, automation, and AI-driven threat detection. Hosted by KPMG through a seamless hiring portal, this program represents an accelerated path to becoming a trusted advisor and hands-on specialist within KPMG’s global Digital Solutions team.

As a Cyber Automation Consultant, you’ll join a cohort of innovative thinkers focused on designing and implementing robust cybersecurity frameworks powered by automation and artificial intelligence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineers, analysts, threat hunters, and business strategists—to develop automated playbooks that detect and remediate threats in real time, streamline audit and compliance tasks, and support strategic defense initiatives.
During the program, you will be immersed in KPMG’s diverse client portfolio, spanning sectors such as finance, healthcare, government, and critical infrastructure. You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals on real-world projects—building detection rules, automating incident response, and configuring integrations between security platforms and KPMG’s proprietary analytics tools. From day one, you’ll engage in interactive workshops, diagnostic assessments, and strategic client presentations, all under the guidance of senior architects.

Participants will also have access to KPMG’s global learning platform, offering a range of self-paced modules in cybersecurity fundamentals, Threat Intelligence, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response), and Machine Learning applied to threat modeling. These technical modules are complemented with soft-skills training in stakeholder engagement, technical storytelling, and ethical leadership.
The program places a strong emphasis on accelerated professional development. You will be mentored personally, receive regular feedback, and build your own automation portfolio—showcasing your contributions to cybersecurity effectiveness and client value. Throughout, you’ll progress towards certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and vendor-specific credentials in automation tools.

Over the duration of the program, you’ll gain market-ready experience as a cybersecurity automation specialist and be positioned to assume roles like Cyber Automation Manager, Threat Intelligence Lead, or Digital Resilience Architect. This opportunity is ideal for driven individuals eager to influence cyber risk strategies, shape future-ready defenses, and contribute to a safer digital landscape.
