During the program, you will be immersed in KPMG’s diverse client portfolio, spanning sectors such as finance, healthcare, government, and critical infrastructure. You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals on real-world projects—building detection rules, automating incident response, and configuring integrations between security platforms and KPMG’s proprietary analytics tools. Participants will also have access to KPMG’s global learning platform, offering a range of self-paced modules in cybersecurity fundamentals, Threat Intelligence, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response), and Machine Learning applied to threat modeling. Requirement/Eligibility
To qualify for the KPMG Cyber Automation Consultant Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience or coursework in programming languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript), plus exposure to security tools like SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), SOAR platforms, or endpoint security solutions.
4. Automation experience: Comfort building scripts or workflows for monitoring, alerting, and remediation. Familiarity with REST APIs or automation frameworks is a strong plus.
