Requirement/Eligibility
To be eligible for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Be an international student (i.e., a non-Canadian requiring a study permit).
2. Currently be in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2025.
3. Be beginning your undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2026.
4. Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity.
5. Show leadership skills and a strong commitment to school and community.
6. Be nominated by your high school, which must participate in the nomination process. Each school may nominate only one student per academic year.
7. Apply to the University of Toronto for an undergraduate program before the university’s application deadline.
8. Submit the Pearson Scholarship application once nominated and officially contacted by the university.
9. Have a track record of innovation and problem-solving in academic or extracurricular contexts.
