Scholarship Details
For the 2025-26 academic year, three (3) scholarships will be awarded to outstanding candidates from sub-Saharan Africa. Each scholarship includes the following benefits:
- Full tuition coverage, which also includes any mandatory field trip fees. This ensures that all academic expenses, including necessary travel, are fully taken care of.
- A tax-free stipend of GBP 22,000.00, designed to cover living expenses for the duration of the programme. This allows recipients to focus solely on their studies and professional development without financial stress.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the LSHTM GSK Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be nationals of and residents in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Intend to return to sub-Saharan Africa after completing the MSc and apply their learning to improving health systems within the region.
- Confirm that they cannot afford the program without the scholarship.
- Meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements.
- Hold a first degree at either a first or upper second-class equivalency level.
- Have an offer of admission for a London-based MSc program at LSHTM for the 2025-26 academic year.
