McDonald Fellowships 2026

The McDonald Fellowships 2026 is a two-year research fellowship program designed for early-career researchers from low- and middle-income countries to pursue research in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The fellowship is funded by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) and provides a generous stipend, research expenses, and travel costs. The program aims to build research capacity in low- and middle-income countries by providing opportunities for researchers to gain expertise and conduct research in MS.

The McDonald Fellowship enables researchers to work in a research institution outside their home country, either gaining expertise or carrying out joint research projects. The program expects fellows to return to their home countries and contribute to advancing MS research and care. The fellowship is an excellent opportunity for early-career researchers to develop their skills and knowledge in MS research, while also making a meaningful impact in their communities.
