Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
- To qualify for the Morland Writing Scholarship, candidates must submit an excerpt of between 2,000 – 5,000 words from a published work, written in English, that has been offered for sale. Applicants must provide clear evidence that the submitted piece has been both published and made available for purchase.
- The submission will be evaluated by a panel of readers and judges established by the Miles Morland Foundation. The work will be judged purely on literary merit, as the scholarship does not support academic, scientific, religious, or political writings.
