The Researchers Without Borders (REWiB) Training Program 2025 presents an exciting opportunity for young African women passionate about Women, Peace, and Security (WPS). In partnership with the African Union Gender Peace and Security Programme, this 5-day intensive training is designed to equip participants with the essential skills in monitoring, documenting, and reporting on the implementation of the WPS agenda across the continent.
This training will not only provide you with practical skills in data collection and community monitoring, but it will also give you the unique chance to contribute to a larger continental effort. Graduates of the program will play an instrumental role in designing and implementing localized monitoring initiatives, with the findings to be compiled into a continental WPS monitoring compendium. This valuable compendium will be shared with the African Union (AU), national governments, and WPS-HA Compact partners, thus ensuring that your work has a significant and lasting impact. By participating in the REWiB Training Program, you will be part of a growing network of young African women leaders, committed to promoting peace and security on the African continent. This program empowers you to design youth-led accountability projects, pitch them effectively, and be part of the wider global conversation on women, peace, and security.
