Save Our Seas Foundation Small Grants 2025

The Save Our Seas Foundation (SOSF) is offering small grants of up to $5,000 for short-term projects (12-18 months) focused on marine chondrichthyan species, including sharks, rays, skates, sawfishes, and chimaeras. These grants support early-career scientists, conservationists, and educators with innovative start-up projects. The SOSF aims to build capacity and support individuals who are passionate about shark and ray conservation, providing them with the resources they need to make a meaningful impact in their field.

The Save Our Seas Foundation Small Grants program is designed to support a wide range of projects, including research, conservation, and education initiatives. The program is open to early-career scientists, conservationists, and educators from around the world, with a focus on supporting local projects led by individuals from the project region. The grants are intended to provide seed funding for innovative start-up projects, and applicants are encouraged to think creatively and develop projects that are tailored to their interests and skills.
