Pulse Picks is seeking a talented Senior Video Editor & Cinematographer to join our team. In this role, you will create compelling, high-impact videos that engage our audience and bring our product recommendations and brand partnerships to life. As a member of the team, you’ll learn how to pitch creative concepts for branded content that resonate with audiences and align with Pulse Picks’ growth and engagement goals.

Stay current with new video production trends and tools, including media technologies and video editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
Build strong collaboration skills with internal and external partners, from Pulse Picks’ team members to brand collaborators.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience: 5-7 years working on branded video content with a strong portfolio in high-impact video editingand videography.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator for advanced post-production workflows.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate remotelyand update teams on project timelines.
Organization: Highly organized and skilled at balancing multiple video projects effectively.
Tools: Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides) to streamline video editing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing
Produce engaging branded video content with a high visual impact for Pulse Picks and brand collaborations.
Handle videography both in-house and on location as needed for Pulse Picks’ content needs.
Work from creative briefs, developing concepts that lead to viral content aligned with Pulse Picks’ vision.
Post-Production & Quality Control
Oversee the editing process, ensuring all content meets high standards of quality and branding.
Manage image selection, soundtrack, text placement, and proofreading for licensed video and audio content.
Secure licenses for all assets used to avoid copyright issues, ensuring content aligns with new video editing formats.
Content Innovation
Contribute to the development of engaging video strategies that resonate with Pulse Picks’ digital audience.
Assist in post-production, from rough cuts to polished, professional-grade videos.
Content Management & Event Coverage
Ensure proper organization and safekeeping of all video footage, logs, and project files.
Cover events and produce live-streamed content when required, helping Pulse Picks remain at the forefront of live event video production.
