Brief Description:
Capacity building is a core mandate of the Development Bank of Nigeria, dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of Nigerian MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). This year, the Development Bank will launch the DBN Learning Management System (LMS), a free learning portal designed for Nigerian entrepreneurs. This free business courses Nigeria 2024 portal features self-paced courses curated to provide essential knowledge for MSMEs. The goal is to help businesses formalize, grow, and become more bankable to facilitate easier access to available credit.
In addition to the online learning resources, the Development Bank of Nigeria MSME training will include selecting outstanding businesses for face-to-face sessions in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. These entrepreneurship training programs will offer practical applications of important business principles, as well as opportunities for businesses to receive targeted support and discuss their specific needs. Selected businesses will also have the chance to pitch their value propositions for a chance to receive MSME grant opportunities Nigeria.
The program is open to all Nigerian MSME owners who meet the eligibility criteria and are committed to attending the training. This initiative is designed to empower Nigerian small businesses through capacity building for Nigerian small businesses and provide vital support for entrepreneurs across the country.
