Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Language Assistants Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Be Nigerian citizens (permanent residents are not eligible).
Be aged between 20 and 30 years at the start of the mission.
Have completed their secondary education in Nigeria.
Be enrolled in a university or have graduated within two years prior to the application.
Have completed at least two years of university studies by the time of application.
Possess a minimum B1 level in French, demonstrating intermediate proficiency.
Be a native English speaker, which is essential for teaching roles.
Preferably be single, as the salary of €813 per month is insufficient to support dependents.

These eligibility requirements are designed to ensure that candidates are well-prepared to succeed in the program and take full advantage of this international mobility opportunity for Nigerian students.
