UN FAO Regular Volunteer Programme for Africa (RAF) 2025

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) leads international efforts to defeat hunger and achieve food security for all, ensuring people have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active, healthy lives. With over 195 Members, FAO works in more than 130 countries worldwide, emphasizing the importance of volunteer action for food security. They believe that everyone can contribute to ending hunger.

The FAO Regular Volunteer Programme provides individuals with the opportunity to engage in global hunger volunteer initiatives that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Volunteers will support FAO’s Strategic Framework to help transform agri-food systems, focusing on better production, better nutrition, and a better environment—all while promoting inclusive development and leaving no one behind.
