The UNICEF Climate Innovation Challenge is a unique, dual-track initiative designed to amplify the impact of early- and growth-stage startups working at the intersection of technology, climate resilience, and child health. It is tailored specifically for startups in UNICEF’s programme countries, regions often disproportionately affected by climate change.
The challenge has two key focus areas:
1. Solutions that protect children from climate-induced health risks (e.g., air pollution, water scarcity, heatwaves, infectious disease spread)

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
This is a time-sensitive call for innovators from across UNICEF’s programme countries. To qualify, applicants must:
1. Be an early-stage or growth-stage startup with a working prototype or validated MVP
2. Be registered in one of UNICEF’s programme countries (spanning Africa, Asia, Latin America, and more)
3. Offer solutions that address:

4. Use frontier technologies such as:
