Requirements & Eligibility

Age: Open to young individuals, typically between 18 and 26 years of age.

Education: Applicants should be:

  • Undergraduates: In the final year of their degree program.
  • Graduates: Recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • NYSC Status: For graduate programmes, candidates should have completed or be currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Specific Programmes and Requirements

1. Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassador (FUCA) Programme:

– Duration: 1 year.

– Stipend: NGN 90,000 per month.

– Eligibility:

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

– Serving or completed NYSC.

– Strong financial and analytical skills.

– Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

– Knowledge of Account Receivable.

– Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

– Good stakeholder management skills.

– Strong time management and organisational skills.

– Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

– Available to work fulltime for the duration of 1 year.

– Responsibilities:

– Regularly review outstanding invoices, track payment due dates, and identify potential late payments.

– Communicate with relevant stakeholders on issues relating to customer accounts.

– Implement debt collection strategies, including reminders, follow-up calls, and potentially working with collection agencies.

– Ensure accurate reconciliation of payments received against invoices, and resolve any discrepancies.

– Maintain accurate records of customer payment and collection efforts.

– Prepare and distribute periodic reports on outstanding debts, collection performance, and credit risk.

– Contribute to the development and implementation of credit control policies and procedures.

– Identify and mitigate credit risks by implementing effective credit control measures.

– Monitor Customer Bank Guarantee process.

– Ensuring proper cash management and incentive process.

2. Unilever Leadership Internship Programme (ULIP):

– Duration: 8 weeks.

– Eligibility:

– Be a student in the 3rd year of an undergraduate degree or enrolled in a master’s degree program.

– Strong interest in understanding business operations.

– Demonstrated leadership potential.

– Ability to work on live projects and contribute to team goals.

– Departments: Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain.
