UNLEASH Philippines Innovation Lab & Prototyping Program 2025

The UNLEASH Philippines Innovation Lab & Prototyping Program 2025 is a transformative, 8-day immersive innovation experience that gathers 200 young changemakers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and social impact leaders from Southeast Asia and around the globe to co-create sustainable solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Taking place from October 27 to November 3, 2025, in Cebu, Philippines, this program will serve as a creative hub where diverse talents can collaborate on real-world problems and build scalable prototypes with long-term impact.

The UNLEASH Innovation Lab model, first launched in 2017, has empowered thousands of youth worldwide. The Philippines edition builds on this global legacy by focusing on urgent regional issues, while still maintaining a global lens. It is specially tailored to nurture innovation in areas like Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Climate Action (SDG 13).
Participants, also known as UNLEASH Talents, will be grouped into interdisciplinary teams and guided through a unique innovation methodology that includes problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and testing. This rigorous process is backed by expert facilitators, mentors, and stakeholders from academia, business, civil society, and policy. The experience aims to bridge gaps between sectors, challenge existing assumptions, and create solutions that are not only innovative but also practical and sustainable.

Throughout the program, participants will also take part in hands-on workshops, field visits, cultural exchanges, networking sessions, and team-building activities. This holistic approach encourages deeper collaboration, regional solidarity, and leadership development. The Philippines Innovation Lab is not only a place for idea generation but a catalyst for continued action—participants will gain access to the global UNLEASH alumni network, incubation opportunities, and future funding to further develop their solutions.
The selection process is merit-based and inclusive, encouraging applicants from across professional backgrounds and countries, including Nigerians and other Africans. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, grassroots activist, policy expert, student, or startup founder, this is your chance to be part of a global movement dedicated to addressing humanity’s most pressing challenges.

This program is an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain international exposure, deepen their understanding of sustainable innovation, and bring ideas to life in a fast-paced, high-energy, and supportive environment. UNLEASH ensures that every participant walks away with new skills, global connections, and a prototype they can continue building even after the lab ends.
