Venture Fund by UNICEF : Early-Stage Startups On AI And Blockchain For Data And Trust


The UNICEF Venture Fund is looking to invest in open-source technology solutions that have the potential to create radical change for children’s rights. Offering up to US$100K in equity-free funding, the Fund is targeting early-stage startups that can improve the lives of children. This initiative focuses on leveraging technologies like AI for social good and blockchain for social impact to create innovative solutions that will enhance digital trust and help address issues such as misinformation detectiondata integrity, and social innovation.

The Fund aims to support projects focused on improving the way we generate, collect, and analyze data, with a particular interest in technologies that combat misinformation and enhance media literacy among youth. AImachine learning, and big data solutions will play a critical role in validating information and building trust in digital environments. Furthermore, blockchain technologies are being explored for their potential to secure data and reduce intermediaries, further advancing digital trust.
