2025 UNITED NATIONS REGIONAL COURSE IN INTERNATIONAL LAW FOR AFRICA

Applications are now open for the 2025 United Nations International Law Course focused on Regional Course in International Law for Africa. Organized by the Codification Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs, in cooperation with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the African Union, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), this program offers valuable insights into international law training.

The course, which is scheduled to be held in person at the ECA facilities in Addis Ababa from 20 February to 14 March 2025, will be conducted in English, accommodating up to 30 participants, including a limited number of self-funded attendees.

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Regional Course in International Law Africa, candidates must possess a legal background with professional experience in the field of international law. Additionally, candidates must be fluent in English, the language in which the course is offered. Selected participants will be required to certify their ability to attend the course in its entirety. With limited spots available, this international law training program aims to enhance the skills of legal professionals across the continent.
