The training workshop is an initiative of the African Development Bank (AfDB)’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab (The Lab), with funding from the European Commission and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The project titled: “Leveraging Research, STEM Education, Business Management and Training Capabilities of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Research Centres for Strengthening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem” aims to enhance the enterprise-support activities of African HEIs by sharing best practices and successes within the African innovation and startup ecosystem. This initiative seeks to foster collaboration across various regions in Africa, promoting capacity building workshops and encouraging STEM and business management education to empower future entrepreneurs.

Requirements/ Eligibility Criteria:
- If you want to establish enterprise support organizations such as incubators, accelerators, or innovation hubs, and other relevant activities within your institution, kindly choose the Start Program. This program helps new African HEIs seeking to build the foundation of their innovation and entrepreneurship training.
- If you already have established enterprise-support activities and want to strengthen and expand these initiatives, kindly choose the Scale Program. This program aims to grow and optimize the entrepreneurship ecosystem by fostering further collaboration and expanding existing training capabilities.
