With ₦5 million per startup, deep integration into MTN’s infrastructure, and a structured roadmap, it provides unmatched support for scale.
Startups receive ₦5 million each—no equity taken—setting it apart from traditional investors . This funding can be used for product development, market growth, team scaling, and more—without dilution, enhancing founder control and flexibility.
Participants gain access to MTN’s Cloud services, MoMo mobile payments, Chenosis APIs, SMS, USSD, and IoT platforms . Leveraging this infrastructure speeds up time-to-market, enhances customer trust, and opens channels to handle millions of users regionally.
Beyond funding, MTN delivers sales and GTM support, investor coaching, introductions to VCs, and Demo Day exposure—providing a comprehensive toolkit for scaling and investment readiness .
The 12-week hybrid structure strikes a balance: Week 1 kickoff and Week 12 Demo Day are in-person in Lagos, while Weeks 2–11 are virtual. This blend maintains connection without sacrificing operational flexibility .
By targeting high-growth sectors such as fintech, healthtech, agritech, and edtech—especially in rural markets—MTN aligns funding with impactful problem-solving in underserved regions .
Selected startups must already have customers or revenue, ensuring MTN invests in validated products ready for scale. This focus minimizes risk and enhances impact .
With a ₦100 million fund per cohort, around 20 startups will be supported. Alumni receive ongoing support—pilots, partnership introductions, and VC readiness—extending the programme’s impact beyond 12 weeks .
