Requirement/Eligibility
1. Applicants must be aged 18 to 35 years old at the time of application.
2. Must hold nationality in one of the five participating countries: Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, or Tanzania.
3. The applicant must be a founder, co-founder, or leader of a youth-led enterprise registered in one of the eligible countries.
4. The enterprise must be actively implementing a solution aligned with climate adaptation goals as per the country’s National Adaptation Plans.
5. Eligible focus areas include climate-smart agriculture, clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, early warning systems, water management, and urban climate solutions.
6. Enterprises must be formally registered and legally operating within their country of application.
7. Applicants must be available to participate in all bootcamp training sessions, pitch events, and follow-up activities organized by the program.
8. Only enterprises with scalable, replicable, and impact-driven solutions will be considered.
9. Applicants and businesses must not have any outstanding legal, ethical, or financial issues.
10. Applications must be submitted online before the August 1 deadline. Incomplete or late submissions will be disqualified automatically.
Prize
Each of the top two winning enterprises per country will receive a $30,000 prize package, consisting of:
- $10,000 in grant funding to support enterprise expansion.
- $20,000 de-risking investment to enhance business sustainability.
- Access to an investor-readiness bootcamp tailored to your business sector.
- Participation in national pitch events with exposure to industry leaders.
- One-year mentorship, technical assistance, and post-funding support.
