The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity Programme 2027/2028 is an innovative, fully funded fellowship hosted by the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Designed for mid-career social-change leaders, this programme recruits its eleventh cohort to address global disparities across social and economic domains. Whether you are an activist, researcher, policymaker, artist, or movement-builder, you can choose between a residential track in London or a flexible non-residential track from your home country. You will participate in custom fellowship modules focused on policy transformation, structural foundations of inequality, and practical strategies for equity.Name of Host Institution

- Must be a mid-career social-change leader working as a policymaker, researcher, activist, practitioner, artist, or movement-builder.
- Must possess at least seven years of experience in challenging inequalities across fields such as social/economic rights, environmental justice, tax reform, or peacebuilding.
- Open to applicants working in any discipline aimed at advancing social and economic equity worldwide.
- Must commit to completing either the one-year full-time study in London or the non-residential project and module coursework.
Fellowship Tracks
Fellows selected for the Residential track spend one year in London completing the MSc in Inequalities and Social Science degree at LSE alongside four bespoke fellowship modules.Fellows on the Non-residential track remain in their home countries during the active fellowship year, build a practice-based project, participate online and in person for the fellowship modules, and earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Social and Economic Equity upon successful completion.
