Brief Description

The Changemakers for Youth Programme 2027 is an international initiative designed to support, connect, and amplify the work of social entrepreneurs who tackle pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. If you are a young leader aged 18 to 35 based in Egypt, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, or Tunisia, this programme offers a structured pathway to scale your community impact. Organised by ChangemakerXchange, the initiative supports 80 young changemakers over a three-year period. You will gain access to a global community, customised capacity building, and seed funding for cross-border collaborations while strengthening the agency and skills of young people in your region.

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

Currently live and/or have an active impact in Egypt, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, or Tunisia.
Be between 18 and 35 years old.
Hold a leadership or decision-making role in an active social or environmental venture or organisation addressing youth development.
Possess sufficient English proficiency to participate fully, as the programme and Summit are conducted in English.
Lead an initiative that strengthens the agency and skills of young people, empowers youth, is youth-led, or has youth as its key target group.

Funding and Support

For the duration of the official Summit and programme, ChangemakerXchange covers accommodation, catering, local transportation during the Summit, venue and materials, facilitation, post-Summit capacity building, and community engagement activities. You can also apply for a travel stipend that may fully or partially cover eligible expenses such as flights, train or bus travel, visa fees, mandatory travel insurance, and necessary layover accommodation. This support is assessed on an individual basis and is subject to available funding. Participants remain responsible for local transportation to and from their departure point, as well as meals and accommodation outside official Summit dates.
