Brief Description
The Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2027 is now open for applications from emerging development practitioners across West Africa. Jointly delivered by the Cloneshouse Foundation and Cloneshouse LLC, this initiative serves as a practical learning ecosystem for individuals seeking a professional Monitoring and Evaluation Internship. The program bridges theoretical concepts and field execution, giving participants practical exposure to real project assignments, professional workflows, and direct technical mentorship in Business Development, Impact Technology, Evidence Generation, and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL). For the 2027 cohort, the program has expanded its intake to select 15 interns in total.

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
Must be a young or emerging professional residing in one of the 16 eligible West African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, or Togo.
Must be goal-oriented, diligent, curious, and prepared to commit the necessary time and effort to develop practical and theoretical skills.
Prior experience as an M&E expert is not required, but applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest in evaluation, research, development practice, learning, or impact technology.
Must complete the online application process, providing basic background information and a personal statement of interest.

Salary
Officially structured as an unpaid internship that functions as an apprenticeship. However, project teams may award stipends at their discretion, and per diems alongside travel coverage are provided if project assignments require travel outside your primary location.
